The Kelowna Fire Department will open its doors to the public on Sunday, October 4, as part of Fire Prevention Week. The annual event will take place from 8:30 a.M. To noon along Bernard Avenue in downtown Kelowna. The open house will run between Water Street and the Sails.

The event is designed to be family-friendly and will include interactive displays and educational activities. Firefighters will be on hand to answer questions and provide safety tips. The open house is one of several initiatives planned during Fire Prevention Week, which aims to raise awareness about fire safety in the community.

Fire Prevention Week in Kelowna has been an annual tradition for several years. The event provides an opportunity for residents to learn about fire safety measures and how to respond in case of an emergency. Previous years have seen high attendance, with families and community members participating in workshops and demonstrations. This year’s event will follow a similar format, with a focus on educating residents about preventing fires and staying safe in case of an emergency.
