Women from across Canada will attend a three-day conference in Kamloops, British Columbia, starting on October 14. The event, hosted at the TRU Conference Centre, is part of the Western Canada Women's Conference. This year’s theme, “Rewriting the Rules: Women Designing the Future,” will explore strategies for achieving gender equity and systemic change.

The conference will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, and workshops led by women from various sectors, including education, business, and advocacy. Organizers aim to create a platform for dialogue and action, encouraging participants to share experiences and develop solutions. The event is open to women of all ages and backgrounds, with a focus on empowering voices that have historically been underrepresented.

The Western Canada Women's Conference has been held annually for several years, with previous events drawing hundreds of attendees. This year’s gathering is expected to be one of the largest yet, reflecting growing interest in gender equity initiatives. The conference aligns with broader national efforts to address systemic inequalities and promote inclusive policies.
