A bus crash on Highway 39 in northern British Columbia has left 20 people injured. The single-vehicle accident occurred around 9:10 a.M. Near MacKenzie, about four kilometres south of the town. Police arrived at the scene to find a northbound white shuttle bus involved in the crash.

The bus was carrying workers associated with a data centre in Mackenzie. Iren, an Australian tech company, confirmed the involvement of the bus. Emergency services are currently assessing the situation. The injured are being treated at local hospitals.

This is not the first major incident on Highway 39 this year. Previous reports indicate that the road has seen several accidents due to challenging weather conditions and heavy traffic. The area is known for its remote location and limited access, which can complicate emergency response times.

The crash highlights ongoing safety concerns on rural highways. Authorities are reviewing the incident to determine if any safety measures need to be improved. No fatalities have been reported at this time.
