Green Bay Packers wide receiver Matthew Golden was listed as active for Monday night's game against the Carolina Panthers. Golden, who has been sidelined with a knee injury, returned to the team's practice squad earlier this week. He participated in full team drills during Wednesday's session. The Packers' coaching staff confirmed Golden is expected to play a key role in the matchup. Golden, 26, has caught 12 passes for 157 yards this season. His return adds depth to the Packers' receiving corps. The team's offense has struggled to generate consistent production through the air. Golden's activation comes one day before the game. The Panthers have not yet announced their starting lineup. The game is set for Monday night at Lambeau Field.
